“The system is not fully installed.” After sysprep.
This apparently is due to installing Windows Media Player 11 before sysprep.
This resolution is partially from Microsoft’s recommeded work around. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320279
Boot from Bart’s PE or some other custom PE
Load REGEDIT
Select HKEY_USERS
File.. Load Hive..
Browse to the \WINDOWS\System32\Config\System on the installed system.
Name the hive “TempSystem” or whatever you like
Open theĀ Setup key on the newly loaded hive and locate SystemSetupInProgress.
Change the data from 1 to 0.
Unload the Hive
Reboot to Safemode
Remove Windows Media Player 11
Reboot to Normal Mode
