This hack is to minimize Microsoft Outlook to the system tray instead of to the task bar.  It is good for keeping things clean.

Put the following in a notpad document and save as MinToTray.reg make sure to leave off the .txt extention. Then double click to import to registry.  So far this has worked with Office 2003 and 2007 for me.

Microsoft Office bundles range from $150 to $450.  Windows XP and Vista operating systems range from $90 to $250.  Here is an alternate solution to the software price crunch.
